the answer to yesterday's question - who was she?
she is michelle obama's mother. wow, can you imagine how her world has just changed.
she's agreed to a trial stay in the white house before she gives up her bungalow in chicago. i'm trying to imagine what my mom would have said or felt about being the
first granny. i think she would have said, "honey, i could never fit in there. and i don't think i'd be of any help to you, only a hindrance. but if it would make you happy, i'll go." yep, i think that's what she would have said.
now, me - what would this granny (maymee) say? let me at it! washington won't know what hit them! ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
what would you do if you were the first granny?

I don't know what I'd do as the first granny, but my girls have already decided it would be totally cool to be Obama's daughters. They all watched portions of the inauguration yesterday at school. The rumor mill must have been running full force because Erin came home and said that it too SIX WHOLE HOURS to move the Bush's things out of the White House and the Obama's things in. And also that the Obamas got TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS to redecorate. And then this morning she was thinking that they probably get breakfast in bed.
I can hear Grandma Rose saying that exactly. Do you think they would stock Kraft Mac & Cheese for Henry?;)
