playing catch up

life is good (but sometimes crazy, busy, frustrating)

the last 2 weeks have just flown by.

received my prize from a soft place to land's diy thursday. wow! if you haven't been to WHITE FLOWER FARMHOUSE @whiteflowerfarmhouse.com, go now. i'll wait.

glad you're back. don't they have so many pretty things? & i'm now the owner of a few of them! the beach sign is my favorite. i can see it traveling from room to room for many years to come. & as an extra surprise, they included a bottle of lavender spray. aaahhhh. it makes a room smell so aaaahhhh.

we've been cleaning the house like crazy the last few days getting ready for my little coffee that i've been planning. i think we could work for a year though & never clean everything that needs it. it's not that big of a house but we sure do get it dirty.

turned 58 on the 9th. thankfully, there weren't any candles on my cake to blow out. and the cake was yummy. a chocolate booondt (bundt) cake. i'm a white cake girl but chocolate has less carbs, so chocolate it was. got a new computer for my birthday. mine was so loaded down with programs (& photos) that it was soooooo slow.
moved my old down to the craftroom, so i've been without one for a few days, hence, no blog posts.

but, as you can see, or read, i'm back. because i have a new computer now. the keyboard is new and weird to touch. gonna take a little time adjusting. it's like going from a smith corona to an ibm selectric. can't relate? don't understand? you must be under 40. (or over 40 to understand)

let's see.....what else has been happening?.....oh yeah. finally finished the grandkids/guest wing. it's now officially open. yes, we had a ribbon cutting ceremony & everything. wanta see some pics? okay, come back tomorrow & i'll show you.
