i knew i wanted something behind the buffet, at the very least, but i hadn't decided on what.
soooooo - in the meantime - i had the brilliant idea to paint a ginormous (to me) canvas.
don't ask me what i was going to paint on it. puleeeeze don't ask me if i'm even an artist.
because, sadly, the answer is i had no idea what i was going to paint on it & no, I.AM.NOT.AN.ARTIST.
but what i am is is fearless (or crazy - take your pick)!
here's my christmas canvas:
& when my daughter mentioned at the beginning of february that, though it was "lovely" i should probably take it down, i started thinking about what would take it's place. (oh-by the way, she JUST took down her christmas tree last weekend - definitely a case of the pot calling the kettle black or whatever)
i'm having a coffee for ladies in my church at my house on saturday morning. and then saturday afternoon, my daughter & i are having a cousins valentines party for my grandchildren & 2 of my great nieces & nephews. i started thinking a valentine themed something something might be the ticket for the canvas.
and so hearts it was to be:
& so it is.
hearts i can do, i'm not so sure about shamrocks for st. patrick's day, bunnies for easter, flags for flags day??????????????????????????? help.
