the other day, henry was all over the sofa; crawling, prowling & growling. finally, i said, "henry, what is the deal with you?" he informed me that he was a puma, a mountain lion, and that's how they sounded & acted.
i expressed doubt that they sounded quite like that & shouldn't he be sounding a little more like a cat. he looked at me like i was crazy. "no, they growl, they don't purr like a cat!"
not wanting to argue the fact with an almost 5 year old, i went to google mountain lion sounds.
found a soundclip & played it for all to hear. well, surprise! surprise!
the kid was spot on! i stand corrected.
let the mountain lion crawling, prowling & growling commence. just not on my sofa or in my house, please. it does tend to make me a tad nervous.

5 yr old boys just can't help themselves huh? They have to growl, pounce and snarl at something...anything. And if they have little brothers, they will follow suite. Not that I would know anything about growling children or anything. My boys wouldn't dream of snarling. (insert massive amounts of sarcasm here.)
