as ghoulish as i can get

a few weeks ago, i decided to do a little fall decorating.

first, i tried the whole (oh great, i can't remember the name!) something something pumpkins by spraying them with this & then that. tried it like 4, 5, or 100 times & couldn't get quite the look i was looking for. oh yeah! i remember! it's called mercury glass. i was going for the mercury glass look. i took some photos of the "process", however, i can't find them. not, as in, in my box of photos, but, as in, somewhere on my computer. oh, well.

then, i bought a sparkly pink pumpkin at the country living fair. yes, i did say pink! you don't think pink is the "in" color for pumpkins this year? well, the tickled pink lady was selling them, so it must be the color to have!

decided to combine my now silver pumpkins & gourds with my pink pumpkin & a few thousand glittery acorns (also from the tickled pink lady - gee, i think that's her name) & do a "tablescape". ya know, i thought i was the queen of tablescapes until i entered the bloggy world. well, i don't know anything about tablescapes. but here's my little table thingy for fall.

well, wait a minute. here's the photos from a couple of weeks ago:

i forgot that my drop clothes waiting to be curtains were sitting in the chair. way to go! anyway, take a close look at my pretty pink pumpkin. go ahead, i'll wait.

nice, huh?

well, took some more photos today of the same table, same everything.

notice anything different about my pink pumpkin? click on the last 2 photos & take a better look.

yep, that baby is rottin' away to rotten!

& that's as ghoulish as i get this time of year.

To quote Rachel Zoe, "I die!" That pink pumpkin is the cutest thing ever! :) Thanks for the visit...I was worried people would think the 27 Days of Thankful thing is lame, but I'm glad you liked it. :)
