(i took this photo on february 1, 2003, at ground zero. my daughter & i were in new york & had just heard that the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated over Texas during re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere, with the loss of all seven crew members. our minds were numb and our hearts broken as we stood there, thinking of our nation's losses.)
